On-Demand Charter · Jet Card Membership

Private aviation, planned to the nautical mile.

Altair matches your route to the right aircraft from a fleet of light through heavy jets, flown by vetted Part 135 on-demand operators — on demand, or through a prepaid jet card membership built around how often you actually fly.

Plan Your Flight

Real distance. Real aircraft. Real estimate.

Pick two airports. We compute the actual great-circle distance, plot the real geodesic on the map, and recommend the most efficient qualifying aircraft from our fleet.

Distance and flight time are computed from great-circle geometry; trip cost is a rounded estimate, not a binding quote. Final pricing reflects the confirmed operator, routing, and any repositioning.

The Fleet

Six aircraft, light to heavy.

Every trip is matched to the smallest qualifying cabin for the route — real spec sheets, not marketing renderings.

How Charter Works

Four steps, start to takeoff.

01

Inquiry

Tell us your route, dates, and passenger count — through the calculator above, by phone, or by request form. A charter advisor responds with options, typically within a few hours.

02

Aircraft Match

We match your trip to the right category by range, cabin size, and budget, and present a primary recommendation plus one or two alternatives — never a single take-it-or-leave-it option.

03

Operator Vetting Confirmed

Before you fly, we confirm the assigned Part 135 operator's current safety audit status, insurance, and pilot qualifications for that specific tail number — not a one-time check done years ago.

04

Fly

Your advisor stays reachable for the full trip — ground transportation, catering, and any schedule changes handled without you managing the operator directly.

Destinations

Twenty airports. Any two of them.

The same real airport data that powers the calculator above — a sample of the network our operator partners serve regularly.

Safety & Operator Standards

We vet the operator. Every time.

Altair is a broker, not an air carrier. Every flight is performed by an FAA-certificated Part 135 on-demand operator held to independent safety-audit standards.

Part 135 On-Demand Operators

Every flight is performed by an FAA-certificated Part 135 on-demand air carrier that holds full operational control of the aircraft, crew, and dispatch decision — Altair arranges the flight but never operates it.

ARGUS Platinum-Rated

We prioritize operator partners holding an ARGUS Platinum rating, the highest independent audit tier covering safety management systems, pilot records, and maintenance history.

Wyvern Wingman-Registered

Preferred operators carry current Wyvern Wingman registration, an independent on-site audit standard focused on operational risk and crew qualification.

IS-BAO Stage 3

Where available, we favor operators registered to IS-BAO Stage 3 — the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations' highest implementation stage for safety management maturity.

Altair Aviation Group is an air charter broker and jet card membership program. Altair does not own or operate aircraft and is not a direct air carrier. All flights are performed by FAA-certificated Part 135 on-demand air carriers that exercise full operational control of the aircraft at all times. Read our full safety standards →

What Members & Clients Say

Trip planning that stays out of the way.

“We fly the same JFK–Aspen and JFK–Palm Beach legs a dozen times a season. Having a locked rate and a 24-hour guarantee means our travel coordinator can book a trip Tuesday for Thursday without a single round of quotes.”

Family Office Principal Summit 100 Member

“The empty-leg credits alone have more than offset the membership cost this year. Our advisor calls when a repositioning flight matches a route we're already planning, not the other way around.”

Managing Partner, Private Equity Meridian 50 Member

“Booked a same-week Teterboro to Geneva trip for a closing that moved up. The team matched us to a Global 6000 within two hours and had the operator's safety documentation in our inbox before we'd even confirmed the date.”

Charter Client (On-Demand) Ad hoc charter

“I manage travel for three executives and Altair is the only charter relationship where I'm not re-explaining our preferences every time. The hour bank makes budgeting predictable for finance, too.”
